Responsibilities include evaluating software requirements, participating in the development of testing tools, and delivering secure embedded systems. A Bachelor’s degree is required along with the ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
Hubbell's Boonton, NJ location is looking for an Embedded Software (Firmware) Engineer to join our R&D group that develops complex embedded software products for the electric utility market.
The Embedded Software Engineer designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs products for enhancements and new products. The individual should be a strong Linux developer capable of architecting and implementing highly complex embedded software in higher‑level languages for embedded microprocessor‑based systems. The individual must have proven track record for Linux/RTOS‑based development, experience with programming languages, with ability to use in‑circuit emulators as well as source code level debugging tools.
