ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an Embedded Linux / High‑Compute Engineer to sustain production ECU software. You will handle component changes affecting ECU software and support manufacturing tests at the contract manufacturer.

Take over existing codebases, validate changes, and document the process for repeatable deployment. Qualifications include 5+ years in automotive embedded software, hands‑on bench debugging, and ability to write SOPs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive embedded software.
• Supported production at a contract manufacturer with test updates and yield data.
• Ability to judge and validate component changes affecting software.
• Hands-on bench debugging with standard lab tools.
• Writes SOPs/runbooks as part of the job.
• Experience with Embedded Linux on automotive SoCs; QNX or Android is a plus.
• Storage bring-up for partitioning and device trees; boot flow changes.
• Secure boot and signed-image workflows.

Responsibilities

• Sustain software for production automotive ECUs and manage component changes.
• Take over existing codebases, implement changes, and validate them.
• Document processes so deployments can run independently.
• Support production at the contract manufacturer and deployments.
• Read yield data and debug line failures as needed.
