Job summary

AIM is looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer to build firmware for the Generation 2 hardware platform. You will be responsible for designing and implementing embedded systems for autonomous heavy machinery, ensuring high safety and reliability standards.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering and significant experience with C++. This role requires strong debugging skills and familiarity with real-time systems, and offers the chance to solve tough engineering challenges in the field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in firmware or embedded systems development.
• Strong C++ experience in embedded or systems programming environments.
• Experience developing firmware for microcontrollers or embedded Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware for AIM’s Generation 2 hardware platform.
• Lead firmware bring-up for new hardware and validate designs.
• Diagnose complex system issues across firmware, hardware, and system integration.
