Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Hands-on experience developing and troubleshooting software on embedded targets.
• Strong C/C++ skills for embedded systems.
• Experience with RTOS and embedded systems design.
• Familiarity with version control and defect tracking tools.
• Understanding OS concepts, IP/network protocols, and hardware interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
• Ability to read schematics and understand hardware constraints.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and cross-functional teamwork.
• Travel >25% to meet customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded control software for brake, suspension, or chassis systems.
• Create embedded software requirements with hardware/software teams.
• Perform software testing and simulation to verify designs.
• Conduct unit testing and assist in test development.
• Interface with hardware design and systems engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Investigate and resolve product issues during development, validation, manufacturing, or warranty.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with global ECU teams to align strategies across sites.
• Support ISO 26262 System Safety Process and vehicle calibration efforts.
• Contribute to vehicle and functional software issue resolution.
