Job summary

Valeo North America Inc. in Troy, MI is seeking a Software Engineer to develop embedded automotive software components and participate in all development phases from requirements analysis to validation and release.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering and 3 years of hands-on experience with automotive interfaces (CAN/LIN/FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet), C/C++, and version control tools such as Git or SVN, with exposure to AUTOSAR and NXP ethernet

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer or Computer Systems Engineering or closely-related
3 years of experience in a Software and/or Embedded Software position using automotive applications & interfaces (CAN, LIN, FlexRay or Automotive Ethernet)
Experience with C/C++ and version control tools (Git or SVN); familiarity with AUTOSAR and NXP ethernet transceivers

Responsibilities

Develop application-specific components for embedded automotive software.
Participate in all development phases from requirements analysis to implementation, testing and releases.
Analyze requirements and conduct implementation activities; support testing, validation & releases.
