Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Software Engineer in Troy, MI to develop application-specific components for embedded automotive software. You will participate in all development phases, analyze requirements, and support testing, validation, and releases.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer or Computer Systems Engineering and 3+ years of experience with automotive interfaces (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet) using C/C++ are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer or Computer Systems Engineering or closely-related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a Software and/or Embedded Software position using automotive applications & interfaces.
• Proficiency with C or C++ and experience with AUTOSAR, NXP chips and automotive Ethernet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop application-specific components for embedded automotive software.
• Participate in all development phases from requirements analysis to implementation.
• Support testing, validation and releases.
