Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate combines deep embedded knowledge with a testing mindset and can grow toward test automation responsibilities, especially in verification workflows.

You will work on drivers, RTOS, peripherals, and firmware, write Python or C/C++, perform hardware bring-up with scopes and JTAG, and own unit/integration validation. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Strong Embedded Knowledge including drivers, RTOS, peripherals, interrupts, memory and firmware development.
• Proficient in Python or C/C++ with solid software fundamentals.
• Experience with hardware bring-up, oscilloscopes, JTAG, and logic analyzers.
• Demonstrated ownership of unit, integration, or hardware validation, with interest in automated verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software across MCU/microcontroller platforms.
• Perform hardware bring-up, debugging and verification with test equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust firmware.

1. Strong Embedded Knowledge

Ex: Experience with Drivers, RTOS, peripherals, interrupts, memory, debugging, microcontrollers, firmware development

2. Strong Coding Ability

Python or C/C++, software engineering fundamentals

3. Hardware Bring-up & Debugging

Comfortable with oscilloscopes, JTAG, logic analyzers

Reads schematics and debugs firmware-hardware interactions

4. Testing Mindset

Demonstrated ownership of unit, integration, or hardware validation
