Job description

• Apply principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of embedded software and systems
• Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software
• Applications span medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing
• Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment for product lines
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions
• Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
• Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project
• Develop embedded software for electronics control systems supporting diesel engine and battery electric/fuel cell programs
• Areas of responsibility include configuration, integration, build and testing of embedded software
• Test software for embedded electronic control systems, including requirements development and verification in a bench environment
• Troubleshoot software or system defects.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with an embedded focus
• 5-7 years experience required
• At least five years industry experience in C programming, Model Based Development, and embedded control software development experience.
