Job summary

Set of X is seeking experienced engineers to join an elite team focused on government contracting and security-oriented projects. The role involves embedded development, vulnerability analysis, and reverse engineering to advance mission-critical capabilities.

A TS/SCI clearance is required, with a polygraph, and the work supports national security objectives. Candidates bring strong C/C++ skills, experience across Linux/Unix environments, and proficiency with debugging and reverse engineering

Qualifications

• Six or more years of software development experience using C/C++ or similar languages.
• Four or more years on embedded platforms (Linux/Unix/Android/VxWorks).
• Knowledge of software system life cycle: requirements, design, development, integration, testing.
• Experience with virtualization environments and debugging tools such as IDAPro, Ghidra, gdb.

Responsibilities

• Support mission-critical projects impacting national security and intelligence.
• Perform embedded development, vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, and software development duties.
• Apply expertise in C/C++ development, reverse engineering, x86 assembly, and Python for capabilities and protocol analysis.
• Provide life-cycle development support to the test team.

Responsibilities

• Support numerous challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation’s security andintelligence mission.
• Perform embedded development, vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, softwaredevelopment, and operational support to solve many of the country’s toughest problems.
• Apply expertise inC/C++ development, reverse engineering, x86 Assembly, and automated unit testing in Python to developcapabilities, research existing functionality, perform protocol analysis, and learn new technologies quickly.
• Provide support throughout the development life cycle to the test team

Required Skills

• Six (6) years experience with Software development experience using C, C/C++, or other proprietarylanguages
• Four (4) year experience with embedded platforms (Linux, Unix, Android, VxWorks)
• Knowledge of Software System Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Integration, and/orTesting
• Development experience with Virtual Environments (VMWare/ESXi, Open Stack, Open vSwitch, QEMU)
• Experience with Software Reverse Engineering and/or debugging tools, such as IDAPro, OllyDbg, gdb,Ghidra, etc.
• Familiarity with assembly languages (development or reversing)
• Knowledge of low level, systems programming concepts

Clearance
