Job summary

Set of X is seeking engineers to support HPC software, enabling supercomputers to operate reliably. You will work across UNIX, LINUX, Windows systems, desktops, servers, and networks to sustain mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities include shell scripting, multi-threaded development in C/C++, Java, Python, and use of GCC and HPC scheduling tools. Clear communication and rigorous troubleshooting are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Experience supporting HPC software in UNIX/Linux/Windows environments.
• Strong skills in C/C++, Java, Python and multi-threaded programming.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• Support HPC software to run in operations.
• Assist with UNIX/Linux/Windows system administration and desktops, servers, networks.
• Develop and troubleshoot in C/C++, Java, Python; multi-threaded and parallel processing.

You will provide support for HPC software to enable High Performance Computers to continue to run in operations, and support the range of UNIX, LINUX, Windows Systems, desktop applications, servers, and networks required in support of the mission.

Responsibilities:

• Linux Shell scripting
• Object Oriented Programming Language (C, C++, Java) o Python Programming o GCC compiler o Multi-threaded software o Parallel processing
• CORBA, J2EE o Perl or JavaScript
• Working knowledge of Configuration Management tools
• Structured troubleshooting skills
• System installation and working with HPC GOTS scheduler and resource management software

Education/Experience:

Level 2 - 6 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 5 additional yrs. in place of B.S.

Level 3 - 8 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 5 additional yrs. in place of B.S.

Level 4 - 10 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 5 additional yrs. in place of B.S.

Clearance:

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
