Job summary

OASYS, INC. in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a Software Developer to design and develop embedded software for military systems. The role supports full software life cycle activities and requires collaboration across teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in C/C++, OO design, and Agile/Scrum, with hands-on CI/CD using Azure DevOps, Git, and Visual Studio. A STEM bachelor’s degree and ability to obtain an Active Secret Clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' experience.
• C/C++ and other Object Oriented Languages.
• Agile Development Experience, specifically Scrum.
• Continuous Integration and Automation.
• OO programming and design, including writing unit tests.
• Microsoft AzureDevOps.
• Experience with Git, SVN.
• Linux.
• MS Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of embedded software for military systems.
• Perform development activities for the full life cycle of a software program.
• Participate in software team meetings, hardware and software design reviews, and technical interchange meetings.
• Collaborate with Cyber, Safety, Operations, and Test organizations to deliver high quality working software.
• Work in a team environment with well-defined goals, supporting both new and legacy embedded systems.
