Technical Skills – Essential:

• Experience: 8-15 years
• Hands-on experience with Linux internals and device drivers
• Knowledge of porting Linux-based RTOSes on ARM / RISCV architectures
• Understanding of hypervisors / hardware virtualization
• Experience in technical documentation following industrial standards (e.g., DO, ISO specifications)
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, with knowledge of data structures, pointers, threading, and memory management
• Understanding of programming safety levels – thread safety, memory safety
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, AI tools, prompts, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Define new directions in the development of full stacks targeted for ARM / RISCV architectures as a senior technical lead.
• Mentor ongoing projects, foster growth in the embedded software domain, and assist the team with technical troubleshooting and risk mitigation.
• Present the team’s software activities at important forums within Thales and externally, collaborating with the Head of Thales Research and Technology India on strategy.
• Act as a key interface between the team and Thales engineering and business development teams.
