This role emphasizes hands-on C and Rust in embedded, real-time, resource-constrained environments, modernizing legacy C to Rust, and collaboration across software, hardware, firmware, and cybersecurity teams. Onsite in Tampa, FL with clear advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Proficient in C and Rust.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience with ARM processors, embedded systems, or SoCs.
• Hardware-near software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/SE/EE.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software using C and Rust.
• Modernize existing C code by migrating to Rust.
• Develop software for embedded processors, ARM-based systems, and SoCs.
• Integrate software with firmware and hardware.
• Troubleshoot low-level hardware, memory, and processor issues.
• Develop and execute software testing.
• Create technical documentation and maintain configuration control.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, firmware, systems, and cybersecurity teams.
