Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor’s or master’s in EE/CE/CS/SE and demonstrate experience with C/C++, RTOS, Ethernet, VLAN, and security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on software design of rugged networking equipment, preferably related to Ethernet.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, including Ethernet, VLAN, Spanning Tree, QoS, SNMP, and TCP/IP.
• Experience in embedded software development using programming languages like C/C++ and familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Knowledge of network security principles, encryption algorithms, and secure protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop rugged electronics, considering harsh environments.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and product teams to define requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and recommend hardware/software architecture for networking solutions.
• Develop and implement embedded software for rugged electronics, including device drivers and protocols.
• Test and verify software modules, identify issues and bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to transition designs to mass production.
• Stay updated with networking tech and standards to enhance products.
