The role focuses on designing, developing and testing embedded software using C, C++, and MATLAB/Simulink for real-time control systems, with emphasis on HMI, CAN, RTOS, Agile/DevOps, and safety standards (ISO 26262/IEC 61508). Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with an emphasis in embedded systems.
• Experience or coursework in embedded programming using C, C++, MATLAB/Simulink.
• Interest or experience in robotics, machine automation, DevOps (CI/CD), or version control (Git).
• Understanding of control system theory and electrical/electro-hydraulic architectures.
• Experience with HMI development for embedded systems (UI/UX).
• Familiarity with CAN protocols (SAE J1939) and RTOS (FreeRTOS or VxWorks).
• Awareness of Agile methods and safety standards such as ISO 26262 or IEC 61508.
• Knowledge of PLM/ECN systems like Dassault 3DX.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for real-time control systems.
• Collaborate across teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and refine HMIs for embedded control systems.
• Integrate and validate control systems using CAN and serial protocols.
• Support rapid prototyping with Agile/DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Contribute to safety-critical development with relevant ISO/IEC standards.
