Job summary

Echodyne seeks a Software Engineer II, Embedded to design and produce radar subsystems. You will work with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to deliver high-performance software for radar platforms and contribute to secure software practices.

Responsibilities include designing and optimizing embedded C++ software, participating in reviews, and supporting testing across hardware and software teams to meet system control and signal processing needs.

Qualifications

• Embedded Linux-based software design and development in C++ in real-time environments.
• Knowledge of debugging, testing, and SW validation.
• Proficiency with Python for testing automation and scripts.
• Experience with SDLC and quality coding practices.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and code reviews.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Strong communication across hardware and software teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize high-assurance software components using C++ for radar subsystems.
• Participate in design and code reviews; contribute to quality software and development tooling.
• Support testing efforts and collaborate with partner teams.
• Work with radar, signal processing, and other engineers to meet system requirements.
