Job summary

Hayden AI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to drive the quality of embedded software used in transit systems and government-facing deployments.

You will shape testing, validation, and release processes across hardware and software. Work with software engineers, product managers, and operations to implement automation-first QA, develop robust test strategies, and ensure reliable field deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in QA, test engineering, or SDET roles with software validation.
• Experience testing devices, embedded systems, or IoT platforms.
• Strong Python for building automated test frameworks.
• Experience with system-level, integration, and end-to-end automation.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and automation-first QA.
• Familiarity with video pipelines, streaming systems, or sensor-driven workflows.
• Experience with test management, defect tracking, and release processes.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality for embedded software releases, including planning, execution, and final release sign-off with regression testing.
• Define test strategies, align schedules, assess risks, and lead go/no-go evaluations with engineering and product teams.
• Establish, execute, and iterate validation strategies for embedded systems, edge hardware, and complexes.
• Architect and maintain Python-based automation frameworks to streamline regression and release validation.
• Direct release test cycles by managing regression execution and reporting release readiness.
• Implement automated and manual suites within CI/CD pipelines to maintain quality gates.
