Job summary

India is seeking a Propulsion Base Software Core Development Engineer to contribute to embedded software for ICE propulsion control modules with GTM emphasis. You will analyze requirements, design, implement, and validate base software components, collaborating across teams and suppliers for high-quality results.

Responsibilities include GTM-based timing configuration, MCAL integration, and real-time, deterministic engine control software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant engineering field with strong embedded software foundation.
• Experience with RTOS-based embedded development and AUTOSAR Basic Software configuration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills as part of cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate embedded low-level driver software for ICE propulsion control modules with GTM usage.
• Implement hardware interface drivers (SPI, I2C, UART, ADCs, PWM) and GTM-based timing for engine control.
• Develop engine synchronization algorithms (crank/cam, tooth detection, angle scheduling) with robustness.
• Configure GTM TIM/TOM/ATOM for engine-critical functions (fuel injection, ignition timing).
• Contribute to MCAL integration and AUTOSAR software development, including GTM components.
• Analyze requirements and translate into scalable real-time software with deterministic behavior.
• Perform hardware-software integration, validate interfaces, and support hardware bring-up.
• Debug complex embedded systems using oscilloscopes and Lauterbach tools; optimize performance.
