Job summary

Amentum is seeking a dynamic Embedded Project Lead to act as a trusted liaison between U.S. Pacific Fleet (PACFLT), U.S. Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), and the PMO, supporting SOCPAC at Camp H.M.

Smith, Hawaii. You will provide direct project leadership, requirements management, and cross-domain coordination to advance mission objectives. This role requires leading projects from concept to closeout, managing risks, and delivering results in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; equivalent work experience may substitute.
• Minimum 5 years of project management, military operations, logistics, or government contracting experience.
• Experience working on a joint staff or in a joint environment.
• Prior PACFLT, PACAF, Navy, Air Force, or joint operational experience.
• Active Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility; US citizenship required for TS clearance.
• CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison to PACFLT and PACAF in support of SOCPAC and PMO.
• Develop and maintain understanding of Navy/Air Force operational priorities.
• Translate customer requirements into executable project objectives and activities.
• Lead projects from requirements through execution, delivery, and closeout.
• Coordinate capabilities across logistics, supply, warehousing, transport, and mission support.
• Track performance, schedules, milestones, risks, and resources.
• Facilitate working groups, planning sessions, and operational events.
• Develop executive briefings, CONOPS, SOPs, and assessments.
• Analyze data to identify gaps, constraints, and opportunities.
• Support logistics resilience, modernization, and emerging tech integration.
• Provide PMO leadership visibility into priorities and risks.
