Job summary

NetApp is hiring for a role within the Agentic Product Management team to engineer and ship production AI agents inside NetApp’s product functions. You will determine what to build, shape architecture, and drive the implementation inside real workflows alongside host teams.

This is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary role requiring collaboration across product operations, program management, UX, and engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years shipping production software.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on fluency with current AI tooling (LLMs, prompts, tool calls, retrieval).
• Familiarity with Cursor, Claude Code, LangGraph, LangSmith preferred; other agent frameworks welcome.
• Strong problem discovery, structured thinking, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Embed inside a host function and build relationships with its leader and operators.
• Scope the technical solution: architecture, where automation reduces toil, where human judgment remains.
• Build and ship the agent end to end in the host team's live workflow.
• Make quality measurable with evaluations, golden sets, and regression checks.
• Ensure production readiness and reliability under real conditions.
• Deliver work like a consulting engagement with clear timelines and enablement.
• Rotate across teams and domains on time-boxed engagements.
• Partner with security, IT, and data owners to meet NetApp standards.
• Capture reusable patterns and contribute to team infrastructure.
