Design embedded firmware for DC‑DC converters and power management, model loops in SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink, and collaborate with electrical engineers through hardware bring‑up,

Qualifications

• 3+ years building embedded firmware for power electronics systems.
• Hands-on experience with digital control of DC-DC converters, inverters, or power management systems.
• Strong C/C++ skills, with experience on microcontrollers like STM32, TI C2000, or similar.
• Comfortable implementing control algorithms such as PID loops (with anti-windup), PWM, and phase-shift control.
• Familiarity with SPICE, MATLAB, and Simulink for simulation and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and write embedded firmware (C/C++) for digital control of power electronics like DC-DC converters, voltage regulation, and power distribution.
• Model and validate control systems in SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink before they ever touch real hardware.
• Work side-by-side with electrical engineers on hardware bring-up, lab debugging, and validation across different load conditions.
• Continuously tune and improve firmware for better efficiency, stability, and thermal performance.
