Apple in Cupertino, California is seeking an engineer to design hardware as part of silicon development. You will develop mixed-signal ICs, create test systems for power supplies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include lab bring-up, PCB design and review, simulation, debugging, and PDN/signal integrity work. CAD tools such as Cadence Allegro and Altium are used; Python scripting is a plus. BS with 3+ years of experience required.

Competenze

• BS and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• MS degree preferred.
• Experience with hardware development from specification to bring up and downstream support.

Mansioni

• Lab validation system design and development using circuits such as LDO, Buck, ADC, DAC, Op-AMP, FPGA etc., and control interface like I2C, SPI, SPMI, etc
• Circuit design, schematic, analysis, layout, and review in a PCB environment
• Knowledge of signal and power integrity (PDN analysis) is preferred
• Hands-on lab experience with hardware bring-up and debug
• Drive debug and resolution of engineering issues working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with PCB manufacturing and assembly
