JPMorganChase in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking an experienced Product Manager for Embedded Payments. You will lead end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to production, and translate customer needs into scalable, secure payment solutions.

Collaborate with cross‑functional partners across technology, design, analytics, and risk to deliver high‑quality products, define KPIs, and drive successful launches in a highly matrixed organization.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in financial services and/or product management.
  • Strong fintech/payments knowledge, payment flows, digital wallets, money movement.
  • Proven ability to drive change in large, matrixed organizations; navigate ambiguity.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration; influence cross-functional and executive teams.
  • Leadership in building scalable platforms and customer-centric innovation.
  • Outstanding communication, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of APIs, engineering practices, and Agile product development lifecycle.
  • Experience managing risk and controls at scale.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering/Business or comparable field.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product, Technology, Design and Analytics to develop and deliver product strategies from 0-1.
  • Own and manage the product delivery lifecycle from ideation to production.
  • Define product goals with clear requirements and KPIs translated into user stories and flows.
  • Work with developers to translate requirements into designs, test plans and scripts.
  • Conduct pre-release reviews including regression testing to certify production readiness.
  • Manage product backlog, support agile delivery, launches and GTM, production support and defect resolution.
  • Monitor performance, scope enhancements, and create remediation plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure a strong risk and controls environment.

As a Product Manager within Embedded Payments, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product, Technology, Design and Analytics partners to develop and deliver product and platform strategies from 0-1
  • Own and manage the product delivery lifecycle from ideation to production.
  • Define product goals, with clear requirements and KPIs that can be converted into user stories and process flows for the development team and other stakeholders
  • Work closely with developers and testers to ensure the team correctly translates requirements into working technical designs, test plans and scripts to serve customer needs
  • Conduct pre-release reviews which could include regression testing and quality assurance to certify the release as production ready
  • Manage product backlog creation and grooming, support agile product delivery, launch and go to market for product, production support, issue & defect resolution and prioritization
  • Monitor performance against goals, identify and scope implementation paths for needed enhancements, and create remediation plans when needed
  • Collaborate with a team of cross-functional partners to ensure a strong risk and controls environment (e.g., Risk, Controls, Legal, Compliance)
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
  • 7+ years of experience in financial services and/or product management
  • Deep experience in the financial technology or payments industry, with a strong understanding of payment flows, digital wallets, and money movement.
  • Proven track record of driving change and delivering results within large, highly matrixed organizations; adept at navigating ambiguity and structuring complex problems.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills; able to influence and align cross-functional and executive teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership in building scalable platforms and driving customer-centric innovation.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, engineering practices, and the product development lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
  • Experience managing risk and controls at scale
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable field of study.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
  • Candidates with Fintech background or payment platform experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
