Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded software or embedded systems engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Embedded Linux.
  • Strong programming skills in C.
  • Experience developing embedded middleware or platform software.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts.
  • Experience troubleshooting Wi‑Fi/wireless connectivity issues.
  • Experience with system-level debugging and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience with SoC integration or embedded platform bring-up.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance middleware components for embedded Linux platforms.
  • Develop efficient and reliable software using C programming.
  • Integrate and optimize software from SoC vendors such as Broadcom and Qualcomm.
  • Support embedded platform integration and system bring-up.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across middleware, Linux, networking, and hardware layers.
  • Analyze Wi-Fi packet behavior and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Work with networking protocols including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and HTTP.
  • Use debugging and network-analysis tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and iPerf.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and implement software fixes.
  • Collaborate with software architects, QA engineers, hardware teams, and platform vendors.
  • Participate in design reviews, integration activities, and system validation.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Middleware Engineer to support the development of next-generation connected devices. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Embedded Linux, C programming, middleware development, networking, and system‑level debugging.

Experience with RDK/RDK-B/RDK-V or similar embedded platforms is highly preferred.
