Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug Embedded C firmware on ARM/MIPS Linux/OpenWrt platforms.
• Build and maintain OpenSync managers using OVSDB for cloud-managed configuration and telemetry.
• Implement LTE/5G failover and modem management.
• Integrate cellular modems via AT, QMI/MBIM, USB, PCIe/MHI.
• Configure WiFi platforms and debug kernel/pci/usb issues.
• Develop TLS-based secure cloud connectivity.
• Handle OpenWrt UCI configuration, persistent storage, firmware upgrades and factory-reset flows.

Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW

This is a Senior Embedded C Developer role focused on developing firmware for OpenWrt-based residential gateways/routers supporting DOCSIS/Fiber WAN with LTE/5G cellular backup. The engineer will work heavily with OpenSync, OVSDB, Linux networking, cellular modem integration, WiFi drivers, and kernel-level debugging.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and debug Embedded C firmware on ARM/MIPS Linux/OpenWrt platforms.
• Build and maintain OpenSync managers using OVSDB for cloud-managed configuration and telemetry.
• Implement LTE/5G failover and fallback state machines, modem management and WAN route arbitration.
• Integrate cellular modems through AT, QMI/MBIM, USB and PCIe/MHI.
• Configure and troubleshoot Qualcomm/Broadcom/Atheros WiFi platforms.
• Debug kernel panics, driver crashes, PCIe enumeration and USB issues.
• Develop secure cloud connectivity using TLS/mTLS, X.509 and GRE/IPsec.
• Handle OpenWrt UCI configuration, persistent storage, firmware upgrades and factory-reset flows..
