Job summary

Sigma Software is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design and implement components for displays, cameras, sensors, and actuators, plus beverage dispensing logic and secure OTA updates.

You will debug firmware, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure adherence to engineering best practices while working with distributed teams. Familiarity with FreeRTOS/Zephyr and low-level hardware interfaces is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of commercial embedded development with C/C++ on STM32/ARM Cortex‑M.
• Experience with UART, I2C, SPI, Wi‑Fi and networking protocols (MQTT, TCP/IP, UDP).
• Experience with FreeRTOS or Zephyr RTOS, secure boot, OTA updates and firmware validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded software for displays, cameras, sensors, and actuators.
• Develop beverage dispensing logic, secure OTA updates, and embedded GUI for touchscreens.
• Debug firmware, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
