Job summary

Kaizen Resourcing in San Antonio, TX, partners with a leading Cybersecurity company to hire a Hardware Design Engineer. The role focuses on cryptographic embedded hardware, high-speed interfaces, and end-to-end hardware development within a secure environment.

You will design schematics and layouts, test hardware, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams across R&D, hardware development, testing and production. Strong problem-solving skills and 3+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of embedded/hardware design experience.
• Hands-on schematic capture and PCB layout experience.
• Experience with circuit boards, processors and electronic hardware.
• Hardware testing experience using electronic test equipment.
• Ability to interpret digital circuits and logic diagrams.
• Good understanding of high-speed signal integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test cryptographic embedded hardware.
• Work across the hardware development lifecycle from design through testing and production.
• Develop schematics and PCB layouts using CAD-based tools.
• Work with engineers across different disciplines on system design.
• Prepare production and manufacturing documentation.
• Develop and maintain functional specifications and production test procedures.
• Support hardware testing, troubleshooting and validation.
