Job summary

Kaizen Resourcing in San Antonio, TX, partners with a leading Cybersecurity company to hire a Hardware Design Engineer. The role focuses on cryptographic embedded hardware, high-speed interfaces, and end-to-end hardware development within a secure environment.

You will design schematics and layouts, test hardware, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams across R&D, hardware development, testing and production. Strong problem-solving skills and 3+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of embedded/hardware design experience.
• Hands-on schematic capture and PCB layout experience.
• Experience with circuit boards, processors and electronic hardware.
• Hardware testing experience using electronic test equipment.
• Ability to interpret digital circuits and logic diagrams.
• Good understanding of high-speed signal integrity.

Kaizen are partnered with a leading Cybersecurity company with a focus on Cryptography and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).

We are actively seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join this award-winning organisation in San Antonio, TX.

We are looking for engineers that has strong experience with embedded hardware design, schematic capture, PCB layout, hardware testing and digital electronics, with experience working with processors and electronic hardware.

Some of the responsibilities:

• Design, develop and test cryptographic embedded hardware
• Work across the hardware development lifecycle from design through testing and production
• Develop schematics and PCB layouts using CAD-based tools
• Work with engineers across different disciplines on system design
• Prepare production and manufacturing documentation
• Develop and maintain functional specifications and production test procedures
• Support hardware testing, troubleshooting and validation

Key requirements:

• 3+ years of embedded/hardware design experience
• Hands-on schematic capture and PCB layout experience

Nice to haves:

• Strong experience with Altium Designer
