Job summary

Delta Faucet Company is seeking a Hardware Engineering Co-op (Electrical) in Indianapolis, IN to join the Connected Water Team. You will work hands-on in the lab on embedded systems, soldering, PCB bring-up, testing, and documenting results as part of real product development.

You will report to the engineering manager, own defined tasks, and gain experience in test methodology, calibration, and lab operations while contributing to future product features and connected water technology.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Hands-on coursework labs, senior design, or project work.
• Excellent soldering experience with small components and SMT.
• Foundational understanding of analog and digital circuits; able to read schematics/datasheets.
• Careful, methodical work habits; measurements must be trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Build and rework through-hole and surface-mount assemblies for prototypes and test fixtures.
• Test electrical and functional performance; record results accurately.
• Design support: layout test fixtures and review schematics for manufacturability.
• Lab ownership: organize equipment, maintain calibration, document procedures and test results.
