Lumentum Operations LLC is seeking a Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and validate embedded software for optical moduless and transceivers in a fast-paced environment. You will work across the firmware lifecycle to ensure high performance and reliability.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in embedded firmware, C/C++, and experience with FreeRTOS, ARM Cortex-M/R, and standard debugging tools. A collaborative team and modern facilities are offered, with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with bare-metal and RTOS such as FreeRTOS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug firmware for optical modules and transceivers.
• Implement embedded software for microcontrollers and embedded systems.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on firmware requirements.
• Support product bring-up, debug, and production ramp-up.
• Document firmware designs and test plans.
