• Basic knowledge of satellite constellations
• Testing, troubleshooting, & soldering skills
• Knowledge of embedded software development for hardware
• Knowledge of hardware architectures and protocols
• Knowledge in writing test cases and unit testing
• Knowledge in diagnosing network issues

Responsibilities

• Write firmware for microcontrollers to achieve desired functionality
• Develop embedded software for new and existing systems
• Ensure configurations for new hardware devices
• Collaborate with government team on site
• Support testing and assessment of embedded systems locally and off-site
• Follow government development processes and best practices
• Keep updated with latest hardware and techniques
