E-Space in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize low‑level firmware with strong hardware collaboration. You will shape firmware architecture, drive bring‑up, and ensure seamless integration across BSP, drivers, RTOS services, and platform software.

You will build device drivers for accelerators and multi‑processor platforms, implement secure boot and OTA updates, and contribute to verification, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Embedded C programming is required; Rust is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Makefiles, Tcl).
• Experience with ARM Cortex/AHB/AXI toolchains and embedded debuggers.
• Understanding of hardware-software co-design and verification.
• Knowledge of security in firmware (secure boot, OTA, TEE).
• Familiarity with hardware simulation and HIL testing.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and optimize low-level embedded software with hardware collaboration.
• Drive hardware bring-up and shape firmware architecture across BSP, drivers, RTOS services, and platform software.
• Develop device drivers for accelerators and multi-processor platforms; implement system services.
• Plan software interfaces and data flows for hardware accelerators; define register maps.
• Verify firmware-hardware interactions, perform data flow profiling and benchmarking.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks; write test vectors and scripts.
