Job summary

CAEtech is seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer for a full-time contract position with benefits and potential for permanent conversion. You will develop embedded software for power electronics and Battery Management System (BMS) products, with C/C++ on STM32 and TI C2000 platforms, under FreeRTOS/Zephyr RTOS.

The role involves design, validation, testing, and cross-functional collaboration with hardware and systems teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of industry experience in embedded firmware/software development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded targets and real-time OS environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software and firmware using C and C++.
• Develop firmware for microcontrollers and DSPs, including STM32 and TI C2000.
• Work with FreeRTOS and Zephyr RTOS environments.
• Perform firmware testing, debugging and troubleshooting with lab equipment.
• Create technical documentation and design verification reports.
