Job summary

Talentify is seeking an embedded software engineer to develop software for embedded processors and to support product documentation and evaluations. The role requires interpreting customer requirements and communicating technical details to clients and teammates.

The candidate will work within a design-focused team, applying basic project management principles, with occasional travel for training and customer support. Knowledge of IC schematics and protocols is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent as determined by management.
• Novice understanding of product development process.
• Novice understanding of FMEA processes.
• Novice in use of IDEs and code repositories.
• Competent in embedded programming languages.
• Novice understanding of schematics.
• Competent understanding of communication protocols.
• Novice in conducting research using corporate resources.
• Competent at planning and executing multiple duties.
• Competent to use basic inspection equipment in a laboratory environment.
• Novice to utilize advanced inspection equipment in a laboratory environment.
• Competent communication using corporate office software.
• Competent ability to communicate in English with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer requirements to meet outputs.
• Develop software code for embedded processors.
• Create and input data using corporate management system software.
• Travel for training or customer support (less than 10%).
• Record daily activities.
• Provide hands-on technical support to customers.
