Job summary

MPR Associates, Inc. is seeking an Embedded System Software Engineer to design and implement firmware for connected embedded platforms, bridging hardware and software in demanding environments.

You will work with hardware teams to optimize performance, extend embedded work to higher-level applications, and ensure robust system behavior. Proficiency in C is preferred; familiarity with Altium is a plus.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum two years of software engineering experience with embedded systems or firmware.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware and low-level software for connected embedded platforms.
• Develop time-critical software interfacing with hardware components and sensors.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure seamless software-hardware integration.
• Extend embedded work to support higher-level applications for device platforms.
• Optimize performance for memory and processing constraints.
