Rise Technical in Austin, TX is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to own low-power wireless firmware for BLE-enabled sensors. You will work hands-on on ARM Cortex-M platforms, including debugging, testing, and performance tuning, contributing to rail-focused IoT products.

This on-site role offers a base salary up to $250,000, relocation assistance, and a path toward technical ownership and future team leadership as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Strong embedded firmware experience.
• BLE experience and low-power embedded systems experience.
• C/C++ on microcontroller platforms (ARM Cortex-M); practical debugging mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize embedded firmware for low-power wireless IoT/sensor devices.
• Work with BLE connectivity, MCU peripherals, debugging and test/verification activities.
• On-site role based in Austin, TX.
• Support existing product improvements and contribute to new product development.
