Job summary

NXP Semiconductors NV is offering a 12-week, paid Field Applications Engineering Internship in the Americas. Interns work with FAEs to translate customer requirements into NXP-based solutions and gain hands-on experience with embedded systems, software integration, and lab validation.

You'll be paired with a dedicated mentor, work on real customer projects, and have opportunities for a return offer into TSAP after graduation. Location includes multiple U.S. offices, including San Jose, CA.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in EE/CE/CS or related field.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher.
• Authorization to work in the United States; internship in Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into NXP-based solutions and support proofs-of-concept.
• Assist with evaluations, design reviews, and customer demonstrations.
• Develop firmware and application code in C/C++/Python under mentor guidance.
