Job summary

TVH Group in Grayslake, IL is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. You will develop hardware- and software-based electronic devices and apply rigorous analysis to circuits and systems.

You will create schematics, define inputs/outputs, develop embedded code in C/C++, and use EDA CAD tools to design PCBs. You’ll test prototypes and prepare technical docs, BOMs, and manufacturing interfaces.

Qualifications

• Four-year college or technical school degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in electrical theory, embedded software theory, and PCB design.
• Experience in embedded C/C++ programming.
• Familiarity with electronics lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware- and software-based electronic devices.
• Analyze and define circuits/systems under examination.
• Create schematics and drawings for the unit.
• Define inputs and outputs (voltage, current, waveforms).
• Develop algorithms based on device input/output requirements.
• Develop embedded code using Assembly, C, and/or C++.
• Test prototypes to validate operation.
• Interface with manufacturing and vendors to facilitate production.
• Produce technical docs including BOMs, PCB files, and test procedures.
