Job summary

Cindavi in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an hands-on Electrical Engineer to own PCBA design, embedded firmware, and troubleshooting for our mission-critical power systems.

You will lead PCB development from schematics to production, write and test firmware in C/C++, and tackle DC motor controls and lithium battery challenges with manufacturing and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5+ years hands-on electrical engineering in manufacturing or physical product environment.
• Proven PCBA design using Altium Designer.
• Strong C/C++ firmware development and debugging skills.
• Experience with DC motor controls and lithium battery technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, and release of PCBA from schematics to production release.
• Write, test, and troubleshoot embedded software/firmware in C/C++.
• Solve complex challenges involving DC motor controls, lithium battery applications, and HMI.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D on shop floor to resolve issues and improve designs.
• Guide improvements based on real-world feedback and interact with field teams or customers.
