Job summary

Woodsong Technologies, LLC seeks an embedded software engineer to develop and test applications across systems, writing and refining code to support mission-critical workloads. You’ll grow skills by delivering integrated products from start to finish and collaborating with team members and clients.

Qualifications include BS in CS/EE/CE or 5+ years embedded experience, low-level programming in Windows/Linux/RTOS, and proficiency in C, C++, and Python, plus testing automation and lifecycle

Description:

This candidate will be primarily focused on conducting application development on a variety of systems. Utilizing various tools and technology, you'll write, test, and edit code to support the team's mission. You'll be able to grow your skills as you develop integrated products from start to finish.

Qualifications:

• One (1) year of applicable experience with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar technical major OR Minimum of five (5) years of applicable embedded developer experience
• Experience with low-level programming in a Windows, Linux, or RTOS (i.e., VxWorks, uC/OS, etc.)
• Experience developing in C, C++, and Python
• Experience automating the testing of embedded software running on embedded devices
• Experience with integrated products
• Experience with product life-cycle management
• Excellent communication skills with team and clients (both written and verbal communications)
• Team-based collaborative abilities
• Resourceful in terms of problem-solving and troubleshooting
