Job summary

Clay's Data Science and Analytics team is seeking a Data Scientist to be durably embedded with a partner team—Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or Partnerships—and to shape what gets built with a central data team that acts as one center of excellence.

You will own challenging problems end to end: designing experiments, building predictive models, and crafting metrics to guide business decisions, with a focus on impact and clear communication with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science, with demonstrated ownership of experimentation, causal inference, or predictive modeling.
• Strong product and business sense: you connect analysis to decisions and revenue and have a demonstrated track record of directly influencing product and business decisions with your work.
• Clear communicator who can influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own causal inference and experimentation.
• Define how we measure the business by shaping metric trees and forecasting impact.
• Go deep on the toughest questions by root-cause analysis and building new analysis frameworks.
• Partner as an embedded expert to leaders, turning ambiguous questions into rigorous analyses.
