Job summary

Boom Supersonic seeks an Electrical or Embedded Controls Engineer at an early career level to own electrical and embedded controls work from day one. You’ll design instrumentation, embedded controllers, wiring architectures, and hardware integration for a next-generation gas turbine platform, collaborating across propulsion, mechanical, software, and test teams.

You’ll work in a lab, debug hardware with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, take ownership of projects, and contribute to bringing up

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or closely related field.
• Internship, research, or project experience in designing, integrating, or testing electrical, embedded, or control systems.
• Experience with embedded programming and hardware testing in a lab setting.
• Comfort working with real hardware and lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).

Responsibilities

• Own a defined portion of the electrical or embedded controls architecture.
• Design, build, and validate electrical systems to generate data for engine development.
• Collaborate with propulsion, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and test engineers to integrate hardware.
• Develop and troubleshoot embedded hardware and control systems during engine testing.
• Help build reliable systems connecting hardware, software, and test from prototype to validation.
