Job summary

Control Risks seeks an embedded Business Resilience Specialist to support a Fortune 50 technology client and strengthen enterprise-wide preparedness.

You will drive standards across crisis leadership teams, deliver cross-program initiatives in Business Continuity, Employee Readiness, and Crisis Management, and help senior stakeholders move from strategy to execution, improving resilience at both function and product levels.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of work experience in an operation, project management, consulting, or equivalent environment.
• 1+ years of work experience in the Risk and Resilience space, crisis management preferred.
• Experience maturing a global resiliency program.
• Autonomy to translate strategic direction into actionable plans with minimal guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize activities supporting crisis and resiliency activities relating to special projects and business units.
• Drive consistent methodology, approach, and standards for planning, training, and exercising across crisis leadership teams.
• Undertake projects addressing crisis program aspects—strategy, governance, response structures, and executive development needs.
• Work across resilience programs to develop and deliver major projects on emerging risks (e.g., contentious elections).
• Collaborate with team leads to bolster function- and product-level resiliency planning.
