Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services seeks a Software Integration Engineer to join our on-site Auburn Hills team. You will drive the integration, testing, and release of embedded software for gasoline engine programs, partnering with software, hardware, and quality teams.

You will work with HIL systems and CAN/LIN protocols, using Git, dSPACE, INCA, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, Lauterbach, and CAPL/C/C++, whilst applying ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards in a fast-paced agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software testing is required, preferably automotive.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of dSPACE, INCA, Lauterbach Trace32, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer.
• Experience with ETAS INCA Tool, Control Desk or related tool.
• Ability to read and write software in C, C++, Python, and CAPL.
• Experience in agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, test, and release embedded software for automotive powertrain applications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software, hardware, and quality engineering teams.
• Perform software integration testing using HIL systems and vehicle communication protocols including CAN and LIN.
• Support defect identification, root cause analysis, and issue resolution across integration cycles.
• Manage software builds and versions using Git and other CM tools.
• Utilize dSPACE, INCA, VectorCANoe/CANalyzer, and Lauterbach Trace32.
• Develop and execute test scripts in C, C++, Python, and CAPL.
• Contribute to agile development processes and CI practices.
• Ensure compliance with ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards.
