Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Significant embedded software leadership experience within automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
• Experience leading software engineers across North American and international teams.
• Proven track record delivering embedded products through development, validation, launch, and production.
• Strong knowledge of architecture, requirements management, integration, verification, and configuration management.
• Experience with ASPICE, the V-model, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, automotive cybersecurity, and automated testing.
• Demonstrated ability developing people, improving execution, and leading organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a globally distributed embedded software team.
• Establish clear priorities, ownership, accountability, and performance expectations.
• Provide leadership across the full software lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through integration, validation, launch, and production support.
• Ensure end-to-end requirements traceability across architecture, implementation, testing, and product performance.
• Strengthen development practices, tools, and technical capabilities to improve software quality, predictability, and execution.
• Partner with Systems, Hardware, Program Management, Quality, Manufacturing, customers, and suppliers.
