Job summary

GreySource is seeking an Embedded Automation Technician to troubleshoot complex automated systems at customer sites in Indianapolis, IN; Durham, NC; Concord, NC; and Houston, TX. You’ll work with ASRS cranes, conveyors, FANUC robots, AGVs/AMRs, and control systems to keep production moving.

The role features a 2-2-3 rotating night shift, in-person work, and a hands-on team focused on downtime reduction and reliability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on troubleshooting experience in industrial maintenance/automation.
• Experience with PLC, electrical, 24VDC control, sensors, motors, drives, robotics, conveyors or mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on reducing downtime.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot ASRS cranes, conveyors, FANUC robots, AGVs/AMRs, and material handling equipment.
• Work with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, control panels, sensors, and vision systems.
• Provide downtime response and root-cause problem solving to keep production moving.
• Support automation systems at customer sites.
