Job summary

Legion Intelligence is seeking a forward-deployed engineer to work closely with government and enterprise customers in Washington, DC. You will design and build custom workflows on our agentic AI platform, sitting with end users to transform ambiguous requirements into practical, deployable solutions.

You will spend 80–100% of your time embedded with customers, delivering fast iterations in constrained environments while feeding insights back to product and engineering.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Forward Deployed Engineering or similar customer-facing tech roles.
• Experience shipping full-stack apps or prototypes in production.
• Ability to operate autonomously in constrained environments.
• Strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customer teams to understand mission workflows and constraints
• Design and build custom applications and workflows on the platform
• Prototype and iterate agentic AI solutions in real-world environments
• Translate non-technical user needs into technical implementations; operate independently
• Gather and synthesize product feedback and feature requests
• Collaborate with product engineering and solution teams to influence roadmap
• Integrate with enterprise systems (data platforms, ticketing tools)
• Build lightweight UI components to support workflows
• Support deployment, troubleshooting, and field iteration
