Job summary

Legion Intelligence seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to be embedded 80–100% with federal customers in the D.C. area, designing and building custom workflows atop Legion's AI platform. You will prototype rapidly, translate mission needs into shipped systems, and provide feedback to product and engineering.

Requires 4+ years in FDE/solutions engineering, strong Python and JS/TS skills, and an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility; US citizenship is required for government contracts.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• US citizenship is required for government contracts.
• 4+ years of Forward Deployed Engineering or solutions engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience designing/shiping custom workflows and UI.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems (O365, Palantir Foundry, Databricks, ServiceNow, Atlassian).

Responsibilities

• Work embedded with federal/national-security customers in the D.C. area.
• Design and build custom workflows and app packs on Legion's AI platform.
• Rapid prototyping and iteration in the field, translating mission needs into shipped systems.
• Provide feedback loop to product and engineering teams.
• Develop lightweight UI in Node/Next.js/React.
• Collaborate with end users to validate solutions.
