Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of engineering, applied AI, and enterprise finance. You will be embedded with customers, building production automation and proving value in real data environments.

You will collaborate across Sales, Account Management, and Core Engineering, owning the last-mile integration and driving technical success from pre-sale through renewals. Expect up to 70% travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar hands-on, customer-embedded role.
• Deep experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, SQL, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong ability to collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers as a peer.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on with prospects to build a working proof-of-value using real data and systems.
• Partner with Account Executives to run technical touches, lead evaluations, and build ROI cases for CFOs.
• Architect and deploy customer-specific configurations of AI Agents to automate accounting processes.
• Perform deep technical troubleshooting (Python, SQL, integration diagnostics) and manage SLAs.
• Lead transformation engagements with enterprise finance, guiding change management and renewals.
• Travel to customer sites up to 70%.
