Job summary

E Source, a US-focused research and analytics firm, seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer, AI/ML to embed with utility clients and turn AI demos into production-grade systems that operators can trust.

You will own engagements end to end—from discovery through architecture, build, deployment, and adoption—delivering working systems within weeks and evolving toward robust production. Strong Python and ML experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience shipping GenAI/ML to production.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one of TypeScript, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with evaluation frameworks and model providers.

Responsibilities

• Embed with utility clients to design, build, and deploy GenAI/ML systems.
• Own the technical architecture of engagements—from discovery to deployment.
• Run independent discovery and separate the problem from the underlying need.
• Deliver a working system early, iterating toward production hardening.
• Design evaluations and define success metrics with client SMEs.
